At Liberty Karts, we want to give our customers the most enjoyable shopping experience, one that will keep them coming back to our store time and time again. That’s why we believe that our store policies should be fair, clear and transparent. Below you’ll find a list of all our policies. Cancellation:
If you cancel an order after we have processed your credit card, but before it ships, you will NOT be refunded the processing fees as we are required to still pay them..

Disclaimer:
In no event shall Liberty Karts LLC be liable for any direct, indirect, punitive, incidental, special consequential damages, to property or life, whatsoever arising out of or connected with the use or misuse of our product, Use of the product is at the users' risk.

Freight claim:
Always check the condition of the product in the presence of the delivery person. Delivery of the product is the carriers' responsibility. In the event of damaged or missing items, file a claim with the delivery carrier immediately.

Returns & refused shipments:
Preapproved returns are accepted within 30 days of the shipping date. Returned shipments will be subject to a 10% restocking fee. All shipping costs will be the customers responsibility.

Custom projects:
Custom projects may require a deposit to cover material costs before the project is started. Custom work is done on an as time permits basis, if we have standard item sales that need filled they will come first. After completion of a custom project full payment is required before pickup or shipping. Custom projects are not refundable. Any custom project that is not paid for within 30 days of completion will incur storage fees starting at $1 per day minimum based on size. 90 days after completion if not paid in full a lien may be placed on your project to compensate for any payment not received.

Safety recommendations for building & using your go-kart
For more recommendations, please refer to ASTM F 2011-02 & F1928-98
Floor pan should be as large as reasonably possible to reduce the chance of any unwanted object coming into contact with the ground during operation of the go-kart.
There should be less than a 1" gap between the back edge of the floor pan and the front edge of the seat.
The seat and steering wheel should be centered laterally over the foor pan.
On 2 seated go-karts the steering wheel should be within 3" of center of the driver's seated position.
The rear steering shaft support should have padding around it to help reduce injury in the event that the rider is thrown forward into it.
There should be some sort of rigid physical device, side rail, etc. the depth of the seat to help keep the rider in the seat.
The seat should not extend more than 3-1/2" over the sides of the go-kart.
The steering mechanism should not be able to go into an "over center" condition.
The steering tie rods should be protected (front & below) in case of a collision.
There should be a remote engine stop switch mounted to the rear steering shaft mount.
There should be a return spring installed on the throttle pedal.
Be sure the tires you decide to use are rated at or above the maximum weight of the go-kart with occupants that will use it.
There should be adequate guarding on all moving or hot parts.
Be certain all loose clothing, accessories, and hair is not able to get caught in moving or hot parts when in the riding position.
Brush bars are recommended to help protect riders.
Consider using seat belts to help retain riders in the seated position during operation.
Check all fasteners, cables, hoses, safety devices, tires, belts, chains, fluids, and welds before each use. Please operate your go-kart in a safe manor with adherence to local laws and regulations. Be aware of your surroundings and people near the area of operation of your go-kart. Do not ride faster than your ability or surroundings alow you to do so safely.
